Our History
Founded in 2020 by a Spartanburg couple, Power of Love: Fighting Hunger was created to help needy locals. The COVID-19 pandemic had caused so many people to lose their livelihood that there were individuals struggling to keep themselves and their families fed. The founders' hope was that by providing them groceries, it would take one burden off their shoulders and allow them to focus on more important things.
Our Mission
We know that it is hard to focus on other things when you don't know where your next meal is coming from. We provide grocery items to needy and/or homeless individuals and families in our area so that they have one less thing to worry about. We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community. Our goal is to provide grocery items to 1000 (or more!) individuals and families in the Greenville- Spartanburg area of South Carolina.
